American Express made a number of moves last week, they changed the sign up bonus on their Blue Cash cards to include 10% on Amazon (up to $2,000 in spend). It’s worth considering if you can get $450 on the Everyday card or $450 on the Preferred card, as long as you’ll use the 10% back on Amazon. American Express are also offering double rewards at small businesses until the end of the year. In addition to that it’s now confirmed they will be making additional improvements to the Platinum card in 2017.
You can still get the 70,000 point bonus on the Chase Ink Plus card (with the annual fee waived) by going into a Chase branch. It was a quiet week for new checking account promotions, Blue Federal are offering a $100 bonus for those in CO with no requirements, but it’s restricted to two of their branches. First South Financial are also offering a $275 bonus but only for their Colliervile branch.
Staples are offering a $20 Visa rebate when you purchase $300+ in Visa gift cards. Swagbucks are offering a $16 moneymaker when you make a $9 donation and you can get $60 in various Amazon credits by uploading a photo to Amazon prime photos.
