Last week was a big one, I’m finally getting caught up on stuff I missed when I was away on vacation. We shared everything you needed to know about Chase Private Client and Chuck shared how statement credits affect points & minimum spend requirements with American Express. We also shared information about Chase’s new premium credit card that will launch August 21st, 2016. It’s now confirmed that Citi will be making big changes to their Prestige card and we have confirmation about when this will affect new cardholders as well.
There are a few increased sign up bonuses on credit cards as well, the Bank of America cash rewards $200 bonus is back. The American Express Simplycash Plus also has a $250/$500 bonus and the Gold card from Ameriprise Financial also has a 25,000 point bonus. Avianca will also be launching a new credit card and Citadel Bank have a $300 balance transfer bonus for those in PA.
It was a great week for bank account bonuses. The $500 Chase business checking bonus is back and you can get up to $150 from Wells Fargo nation wide as well. The nationwide Tech CU $150 bonus has been extended and Synovus has a $200 bonus for those in AL, FL, GA, SC & TN that is worth looking at as well.
