There is a new way to bypass the Chase 5/24 rule, with ‘Selected For You’ offers online. Unfortunately Chase CPC status no longer bypasses Chase 5/24 (making Chase Private Client status a lot less useful). It’s also rumored that American Express has a new Rewards Abuse Team (given the nice nickname of RAT). Some American Express cards are getting approved without a hard pull as well.

We are getting towards the end of 2016, so make sure you’ve used up your travel credits on your premium cards, we created a series of post letting you know what you needed to know for each specific card (Chase Ritz-Carlton, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Citi Prestige & American Express).
