Best Posts Last Week: $30 In Freebies, New 40,000 Mile Card, Chase Class Action Settlement & More

Another massive week on the site, let’s hope the good deals and posts continue! As always, some of the better deals have expired so if you’re not already I’d strongly recommend that you follow us on Twitter so you don’t miss anything. Northpointe Bank are also helping us give away $200 in Amazon gift cards as well. Last bit of house keeping before we get started on the week’s recap, we have also created a daily deals page that lists offers readers might be interested in but aren’t worth a stand alone post.

You can now sign up for the Barclaycard American Airlines Aviator Red card with a 40,000 mile bonus online, we knew this card would be available for sign ups in 2017 but I didn’t know it would be available online. Unfortunately Barclaycrd are also massively downgrading their Sallie Mae card. It might also be possible to get 50,000 points on the Citi Premier in branch, just keep in mind the Citi 24 month rule. Chase have also agreed to a class action settlement for closed accounts and forfeited points.

It was a big week for bank account bonuses as well. Wells Fargo has brought back their nationwide $100 bonus and it’s available online. My Banking Direct have a $150 nationwide bonus excluding a few states and Northpointe have a $50 bonus + $50 to charity + the account earns up to 5% APY. There is also a huge amount of bonuses for specific states, all the new ones are listed below.

Going into Christmas the amount of deals has been insane, you can get up to 15% off Amazon.com (up to $1,000 in spend and can be used for multiple orders). Square Cash are giving away a free $10, Uber is has codes for $10 off for existing users in some cities & you can get a free $10 in Amazon credit for first time app users.

The Android Pay Uber promotion for 50% is also back, you can get a $25 Amazon credit for signing up to Audible ($10 money maker) and $10 in Amazon credit for purchasing $50 Amazon & $50 Starbucks gift card. A lot of the airline portals are offering 1,500 mile bonuses as well (United, Alaska Airlines & American Airlines all participating).
