Best Posts Last Week: 5 Increased Credit Card Bonuses, Free Lounge Access & $20 Free For DoC Readers

Biggest news of the week was the addition of more information about the upcoming Chase Sapphire Reserve Card. Chase also revamped the Ritz-Carlton card to be a Visa Infinite and made the promotion valid for three nights instead of two (and added an authorized user bonus). NASA Federal Credit Union increased the bonus on their Star Trek card to 50,000 points, U.S. Bank brought back their olympics promotion for their FlexPerks card. And finally American Express increased the sign up bonus on their Blue Cash cards to up to $450 on both the Blue Cash Everyday & Blue Cash Preferred Card.

A lot of great bank bonuses were found and added to the site last week. Wells Fargo has a $100 offer that can be done online and doesn’t require a direct deposit. Chase has a $100 savings offer that only requires a $5,000 deposit and a bunch more regional bonuses were added that are listed below and worth a look.

Debitize is an application that helps you avoid credit card debt for free, they are also offering Doctor of Credit readers a $20 bonus for free for signing up. Southwest has a 2,500 point shopping portal bonus, American Airlines has a 1,500 point bonus and finally Alaska has a 1,500 point bonus. You can get a 20% bonus when you transfer SPG points to American Airlines, meaning that 20,000 SPG points can turn into 30,000 American Airline miles. Last but not least, Visa & Lounge buddy are offering a $40 discount on any of the list lounge passes – should be enough for a free or extremely discounted lounge access.
