Amazon Prime Day 2019 – Stickied Post

Amazon Prime Day 2019 is upon us. This year Prime Day runs for 48 hours total, July 15th and 16th. It begins Sunday night at midnight PT and ends Tuesday night at midnight PT. Most deals are available for Amazon Prime members only.

We’ll leave this post stickied to the top throughout Prime Day; regular blog posts will continue to show up on the homepage below this page. We’ll add smaller deals to this page, broader deals will get a dedicated post as well as being added to this page. Let us know in the comments if you see something interesting.

Links in this post contain our Amazon affiliate link (big thanks to those who support the site). Note: there are some portals who offer cashback on select Amazon categories, such as clothing and furniture. See portal options here. Check our Complete Guide To Saving Money On Amazon (Save 8% – 27%+) for year-round tips and tricks to save money on Amazon shopping.

Walmart, Target and other retailers are also joining to make this a ‘Black Friday in July’ shopping event. We’ll add deals from other retailers too with an identifier that it’s a deal from somewhere else.

with the Amazon affiliate program they make a lot of money from the links to Amazon, so it’s definitely worth it to them I’m sure.

It’s a great site though.

To me they have been awful. I don’t really shop at Amazon. Can we get back to credit card and bank stuff? Don’t see a need to waste my money at Amazon.

Mike L

Awful? There’s only so much “credit card and bank stuff” available and they have 2 full pages dedicated to the best current bonuses available. Believe it or not, there are a lot of people that use Amazon and find this very helpful…

Maybe start a new blog about it then ” Doctor of Throwing my money away on prime membership at Amazon”. I don’t have a problem with a couple threads about it but 30 threads in a couple of days? Come on.

I only visit this blog to make money not to spend it. it is called Doctor of credit. Not Amazon official site.

Or you can take a break this week and go back to reading TPG.

Frogger the blog was originally called doctor of credit because it was about helping people understand credit scores.

Why are you opening the Amazon threads then? Don’t like em? Skip over them.

Chuck I had signed up 3 months prime for free using amex card a few days back. Now I see the below offer in my prime page.

Welcome to Prime, MY NAME!
Get $10 in just two steps.
Buy a prime eligible item.
Claim your $10 reward.

Link is given below. I’m not sure whether it works for everyone. I think similar was given last year too.

Any chance you can take a screenshot and send it to will@doctorofcredit.com?

AirPods were on Amazon for $149.99 just a week ago. Now for Prime Day they’re $179? What a deal! I always try to give Prime Day the benefit of the doubt but every year it’s the same increase-prices-to-put-on-sale-lets-pretend-its-a-great-deal bamboozle

179.99 is the wireless charging case version, means you can charge the case by place it on a wireless pad, no cable needed. the 149.99 one you have to plug the cable to the case directly. Two different products.

These are $169.99 on Costco right now

I am not why if you have the sticky you need a hundred other posts for Amazon. Has this become and Amazon advertisement site? Seems the first 3 pages are all ads for Amazon.

I agree, separate posts were not required. It may have contributed to higher search engine ranking for prime day specific pages, and may have raised red flags (though unfairly) in the Amazon affiliate programs system. There were similar comments last year too.

Good sale prices on their Amazon Basics enameled cookware. These are knock offs of the expensive Le Creuset stuff, but for 1/4 to 1/3 the price.

Also, the Blink XT2 camera system (which is an Amazon brand) is $99 for the 2 camera system and the Kitchen Aid KSM155GBCA for $239 (the blue and silver are already sold out, the red is still available)

Something to note – I saved that Blink system in my cart hoping it would go on sale. It did NOT reflect the price drop. I had to delete it and add it back in. Yes, I know the Blink is not the world’s greatest system, but it beats a webcam pointed out the window.

Notwithstanding clickbait headline, pretty good article from WSJ focused on Prime membership fee revenue stream: “The One Amazon Prime Day Deal That Walmart and Target Can’t Match”

I live in the highly congested state of New Jersey.
Don’t see the need to have Amazon Prime.

Not having it means no unnecessary purchases. LOL.
