The big news from last week are the changes to the Platinum cards from American Express, you can view our complete guide by clicking here. There are also upgrade offers for 75,000 points on the business card and 60,000 points on the personal card. American Express also expanded their corporate advantage program.
Chuck put together a great post on taxes for miles, points & cash back. He also explained the Citi 8/65 rule. Sirtheta gave us an excellent warning on Bank of America applications, I think we will be hearing a lot more about this in the future. There is also a targeted offer for 60,000 points & $100 on the Chase Southwest Plus card.
It was another big week for bank account bonuses. HarborOne has a massive bonus for $500 for those in MA, NH, ME, CT, VT and RI, M&T has another good $200 checking bonus that everybody should be getting on. Santander and Capital One have also extended their bonuses (although the promo code for Capital One wasn’t working at the time of writing). You can view a full list of the bonuses we added below.
Unfortunately you can no longer earn JetBlue points on Amazon gift card purchases. There is a good deal on Amazon dash buttons currently, you get $5.99 in Amazon credit per purchase. There was also quite a few money making Swagbucks deal last week, $24 from proactiv and Bank Amerideals, $8 from Kiwi & Walmart & $15 from Gamefly.
