Currently it’s possible for some people to get a 100,000 point bonus on the American Express Platinum card, if you’re interested then read this post and the comments. American Express also announced a negative change to their 50% back benefit for business Platinum card holders. The rebate now takes longer to post, has been reduced to 35% and also has a cap. New cardholders will be grandfathered for one year. Increased incognito mode offers are back for American Express as well.
Citi has increased the bonus on the American Airline personal card to 60,000 miles and the same for the business card as well. They also added Jet Airways as a transfer partner with little fanfare. The best offer on the Chase Hyatt card is back as well.
It was a slow week for bank account bonuses, with only the Huntington Bank $200 bonus for those in OH, MI, IN, PA, KY, WV, IL & WI and a targeted $400 Capital One bonus of note. There is a chase $200 Business checking bonus, but you are better off waiting for a higher public offer to come along.
One of my favorite AmEx offers is back ($50 Hotels.com gift card and get $10 back). Swagbucks has two money makers one for $7 and one for $15 and there are two good Amazon offers one for $25 off using a single Membership Rewards point and one for $10 for changing your Citi one click setting.
