Best Posts Last Week: 100,000 Platinum Offers, Best Bank Bonuses & Extra 1-2% Cashback On Your Favorites

Another big week, especially for credit card bonuses & news. Let’s start off with Chase, they announced that the Hyatt card would be moving from a two free night bonus to 40,000 points on June 29th. The new bonus will be better for people that would normally redeem those nights for low category properties and worse for people that want to redeem for high category properties. If you want to get the bonus before the offer changes, make sure you get it with the $50 statement credit. Chase Southwest 60,000 point offers might also be ending on June 29th so grab those if you want them. Fairmont card has also been discontinued and will be product changed on August 15th, read our post on what you need to know. Last but not least for Chase is a targeted offer for 30,000 points on the Chase Freedom Unlimited. The good news is that people who have been targeted also seem to be pre-approved in branch for the same offer and as we know in branch pre-approvals bypass 5/24.

American Express also had a lot of news and increased bonuses. You can get 100,000 points on the personal & business Platinum cards, there is also a 60,000 point upgrade offer on the personal card with no lifetime language but that is targeted. It looks like the 20,000 point Blue Business Plus offer is going away, so grab it now if you’re interested. They discontinued the Gold card (not the PRG) but you can still get a 25,000 point bonus on the Ameriprise version. They have also brought back the increased incognito mode offers.

We finally updated our best bank account bonus page for June. If you’re not already taking advantage of these offers, read this post to be inspired. Elements Financial has a $200 nationwide bonus & Discover has another $100 savings bonus through AAA. First Bank and Trust also has a $300 checking bonus for those in LA, MS or FL. There is a new leader for basic savings account rates with All America/Redneck Bank now offering 1.5% APY.
