Best Posts Last Week: Centurion Guest Access, New Card With 100k Mile Bonus & More

American Express has announced that guests will no longer receive free access to Centurion lounges starting February 2023. This somewhat confirms some earlier Platinum rumors. The Chase United Quest card has launched with a 100,000 mile bonus. Chase will also be launching a co-branded card with Instacart.

We’ve added some new bank account bonuses, PSECU is offering a $100/$250 bonus that is available nationwide with a donation. People’s United bank is offering a bonus of $400 for those in MA, ME NH CT & NY. UMB Bank has a $300 bonus for those in AZ, CO, IL, MO, NE, OK, KS, TX, probably not worth it given readers previous experiences with this bank. Citibank has a $2,000 business checking bonus.

Samuel Adams is offering a $7 bonus when you get your COVID-19 vaccine. Amazon is offering a smart plug for $3.14, Google Pay has a $30 bonus when you complete the Spring challenge. American Airlines is offering an AAdvantage anniversary special. Swagbucks $100 Vuse bonus is back as well.

I’m just here to grumble about the possible Amex Centurion lounge policy changes.

That on top of a rumored annual fee increase… Could at least let people bring their spouse. It is 2 years away so have to see if they make any positive changes. Makes the lounge pretty much useless to me though since I’m not paying $50 to bring someone in or paying $175 to add them as a authorized user.
