Best Posts Last Week: New American Express Credits, Up To $100 Off Amazon & New Checking Bonuses

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen such a busy week. American Express has added limited time benefits to Platinum, Green, Marriott, Delta and Hilton credit cards. Citi is making it possible to use the $250 travel credit at supermarkets and restaurants and also adding 3 months to meet minimum spend requirements. Chase has also added 3x/5x points on grocery store purchases. We’ve also updated the best credit card bonus page for May.

Chase has brought back the $600 checking & savings bonus. Aspiration $100 checking bonus has also been extended. Huntington Bank up to $750 business checking bonus is a lot more attractive as the monthly fees are being waived currently. First Merchants Bank has a $400 bonus for those in IL, IN, OH, MI. Chase YouInvest bonus has been increased to $725. E*Trade brokerage bonus is also up to $3,500 via referral.

You can currently get 30/40% off Amazon when using a single MR point and 20% off when using a Discover point (up to $50 per promotion). Worth checking both even if you’ve done similar bonuses in the past. UberEats also has some new promo codes for up to 50% off. You can currently get a free six pack of Coors (or 50% off) in select states. Verizon is offering some a free $5 Visa gift card.
