American Express is targeting more people for the pre-qualified offer of 100,000 points on the American Express Platinum. Both Bank of America & Chase are extending the period cardholders can meet their minimum spend requirements (American Express already announced this). Chase has updated it’s business credit card application form and seems to be tightening approvals currently as well.

There were a few good bank account bonuses last week, including nationwide bonuses of $100-$500 from Capital One and a $125 HSBC savings bonus. Clearview Bank has a $400 checking & $100 savings bonus for those in PA and First Horizon Bank has a $300 business checking & $150 business savings bonus for those in AR, AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA.

Amazon is offering 20% off when you use a single Discover point. Wells Fargo is offering some cardholders 10% back on grocery & gas purchases. Staples is offering $20 off $100+ online. You can get a free month of CBS All Access and free magazines with no credit card needed.

IRS is now letting you check the status of your stimulus payment. Southwest is extending companion passes by six months, American Airlines, Flying Blue & Wyndham have all announced extensions as well.
