Best Posts Last Week: New Barclaycard Rule, Time Your Companion Pass & $13 Money Maker From Gap

Looks like Barclaycard has introduced a new application rule, more information and sharing of data points can be found here. Thankfully it only seems to be effecting Arrival cards currently, but we all know that Chase extended their 5/24 rule to apply to some co-branded cards after initially only having it on the Sapphire cards. Speaking of Chase now is the time to start thinking about timing your companion pass for 2018/2019. They also released the Q4 categories for the Chase Freedom and it’s still possible to get a 100,000 point/$500 bonus on the Chase Ink Cash/Preferred cards. Best bonus on the Barclaycard American Airlines card is now 60,500 miles.

We added a lot of new checking & savings bonuses last week. Some of the highlights are a $300 checking + $100 savings bonus from First Tennessee for those in middle Tennessee and North Carolina. Discover has another $200/$150 savings bonus, looks like it might work even if you’ve done the other bonuses from them as well.
