Best Posts Last Week: SPG Luxury, $200 Nationwide Bank Bonus & More

Last week saw the introduction of the new SPG Luxury card, it was launched with a 100,000 point bonus but there are targeted offers for 125,000. I would wait out a bigger offer than 100,000 points personally as that seems weak compared to other premium cards. Upgrade offers of 0-100,000 points have been sent out and those are worth a second look based on how the $300 statement credit works. American Express also increased the sign up bonus Hilton business card to a new all time high of 125,000 points + $100 and the no annual fee personal card to 75,000 + $50.

Barclays also increased the Business Aviator to a new all time high of 60,000 miles after a single purchase. Citi has stopped accepting applications for the Citi Prestige card and it’s currently being revamped, we looked at whether it made sense to book 4th night free before any changes are made. Chase has a targeted offer for 75,000 miles on the United explorer card as well.

It was a good week for bank account bonuses with Wells Fargo releasing a $200 nationwide offer. There is also a $400 bonus from Fifth third for those in FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MI, NC, OH, TN, WV, although it does require opening in branch and a $15,000 deposit. FirstBank has a $300 checking option and direct deposit is optional for those in CA, AZ & CO. M&T has also brought back bonuses up to $250 for those in CT, DC, DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, WV. Chase will also be launching Sapphire Bank on August 27th, but there will be no sign up bonus on launch.

Amazon is offering $50 off $50 for home cleans, you used to be able to get $75 off $75 but the second code has now expired. Delta is having a flash sale on flights to Hong Kong, return for 30,000 miles. Walmart eBooks has launched and new users can get $10 off their first eBook or audiobook. MoviePass is making changes to the annual plan they used to offer, you can request a refund until 8/31.
