Best Posts Last Week: Three New Credit Cards, $5,000 Bank Bonus, $20 Back At Amazon & More

Last week we saw three new credit cards released. Barclays released the Arrival Premier and Chase released the IHG Premier & IHG Traveler. Unfortunately none of the new cards are particularly good, but the IHG cards might make sense to sign up for the bonuses, fingers crossed we see a sign up bonus on the Arrival Premier eventually. Chase unfortunately made a negative change to the IHG free night certificate and also now limits you to one Southwest personal card/bonus every 24 months. Citi announced changes to their price rewind benefit as well.

Discover has extended the $150/$200 savings bonus, Chase brought back the $300 business checking bonus and KeyBank is offering a massive $5,000 business bonus but most people won’t qualify due to the merchant services requirement. Chase is also offering a bonus to credit card holders that close a new mortgage with them. Savings account rates are definitely on the rise with popular direct now offering a 2% APY rate with no restrictions. Full list of bank account bonuses and savings rate changes can be seen below.

American Express release an amex offer for $20/2,000 points back when you spend $50 at Amazon. If you weren’t targeted, try one of these three listed methods to get targeted. American Express is also offering 2 bonus AmEx MR when you shop through express checkout at select merchants. Bank of America has $15 bonus when you use apple pay three times and there are a lot of other amex offers that were released last week as well.
