Best Posts Last Week: 70k + $30 Arrival Offer, 20% Off Amazon, 5/24 Rule Expanded

This post is a day late due to the Black Friday/Cyber Monday craziness. Blog should be returning back to near normal this week with a greater focus on bank bonuses and credit card bonuses. Now let’s get stuck into the best posts from last week.

Last week we saw Barclay increase the sign up bonus on the Arrival+ to 70,000 points. Don’t forget you can get an extra $30 when you apply through Affinity. We also saw another round of people were targeted for the 100,000 point American Express Platinum offer via CardMatch. Unfortunately it looks like the Chase 5/24 rule has been expanded across most (if not all) co-branded cards.

The best bank account bonus page has been updated for November, 2018. Chase released another $300 checking & $200 savings bonus, the combined $600 bonus is better but for some reason the $500 link works for some people that can’t get the $600 links to work. We also added a number of state specific deals that can be viewed below.

As mentioned at the top, it was an absolutely crazy week for deals due to Black Friday & Cyber Monday. Some of the best deals were from Amazon, especially when you added in the fact you could get an additional 20% off when you use at least one Membership Rewards point (this deal is still live and works on gift cards). Chase has a similar deal but for $15 off $60+. It also looks like Citi has a similar deal for $15 off $100+. A full list of deals we added can be viewed below.
