American Express made it easier to see if you’re eligible for a sign up bonus due to the vague new rule they added. They also launched a new cash magnet card, the 1.5% on all purchases is useless but the $300 sign up bonus might be good for some. Continuing on the Amex train we saw a new lot of authorized user bonuses sent out, as well as reimbursement checks from a failed bonus from last year and upgrade offers on some cards. You can now enroll in all the Q3 5% rotating categories as well, do it now before you forget.
It was a good week for bank bonuses, with the Chase $500 checking & savings promotion returning. U.S. Bank also has a $200 in branch checking bonus. BECU has a $100 referral bonus for both parties if you’re in WA/OR and there is a massive $300 bonus from Cincinnati Federal for those in OH, KY, IN. Northern Bank also launched a 2.26% APY money market account, becoming the new rate leader.
You can make an easy $32 from Swagbucks & Hulu currently. American Express launched some great amex offers, with $20 off $60 at Google Express, 10% back at Lowe’s & 10% back at Exxon Mobil among others. You can also get an easy $10 Amazon credit by signing up for Audible. It’s also possible to get cheap Fire Tablets/Kindles at the moment as well.
