Barclaycard will introduce a new card called Arrival Premier and it looks like points will be transferable to airline partners. They are also rebranding from Barclaycard to Barclays. Chase is now offering a public sign up bonus of $500 on the Chase Ink Cash. Unfortunately Chase selected for you offers are no longer bypassing the 5/24 rule. Chase will also be ending the short lived Chase offers as well. American Express will build out a centurion lounge at Denver International Airport.
It was a huge week for bank account bonuses, so much so we fully updated our best checking bonus page. Everybody is eligible to get a $60 savings bonus, the best thing is that you don’t need to open a new account any existing account will work. Capital One has a nationwide money market bonus for up to $600. Those in PA can get a $400 checking bonus from ACNB. 1st Source Bank also has a $300 bonus for those in IN & MI. Elements Financial also has a $200 checking bonus available nationwide.
It was a good week for high interest savings accounts as well. Salem Five Direct has a 1.85% APY account with no requirements. First Advantage Bank’s 4.5% APY account is now available nationwide and comes with a healthy amount of credit card funding. Beam is also set to launch a 2%-4% APY account later this month.A lot of the better deals have now expired, but Zappos is giving $25 off $50.
