Best Posts Last Week: Unlimited Movies For $9.99 Per Month, Best Credit Card Bonuses & More

Last week we refreshed our list of the best credit card sign up bonuses. This includes the Merrill+ and I’d suggest you sign up for that card if you haven’t already as it looks like it will be discontinued. The Citi ThankYou Premier is also having it’s offer changed on 8/22 so if you’re interested in the 50,000 point bonus on that card now is the time to go for it. Chase Fairmont cards have now been automatically product changed to the Chase Sapphire Preferred, here’s what you should know and do. We also had our resident legal experts look at whether the Chase 5/24 rule was legal or not.

Another good week for bank account bonuses. Huntington has $500 & $750 business checking bonuses for those in OH, MI, IN, PA, KY, WV, IL & WI, Banterra also has a generous $200 business checking & $200 money market bonus for those in IL, IN, KY, MO. In terms of personal bonuses KeyBank has a good $300 checking bonus in NY, OH, CO, CT, PA, OR, WA & UT and Commerce Bank has a $200 checking & $100 money market account in MO, KS, IL, OK & CO. It wasn’t all good news though, M&T has been closing newly opened accounts. Let’s hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.

One of the best deals I’ve seen for awhile is MoviePass offering unlimited movies for $9.99 per month. I don’t see that surviving long term, but might as well take advantage of it while you can if you go to the movies on a regular basis. The popular $100/$75/$50 back for spending $30+ at AT&T deal is back and a money market, unfortunately it’s targeted. You can also get $35 in snacks with Naturebox & Swagbucks & Amazon is also giving away $8 in snacks when you spend $25+. A full list of all offers and all posts we made can be found below.

As always a lot of the good deals have already expired, make sure to either follow us on Twitter, get instant notifications or get daily e-mail updates so you don’t miss any deals. If we missed any deals or you have an idea for a post, please let us know ([email protected] or [email protected]).

MyPoints has a 750 point offer for MoviePass. I’m curious to see if something similar will appear on SwagBucks.
