Last week there was a bit of Chase news, first the positives are that Chase is offering a 100,000 point bonus on the Marriott Bonvoy boundless card & more people have been targeted for ‘selected for you’ offers that bypass 5/24. Unfortunately Chase has also updated the terms (without really notifying anybody) on the trip cancellation benefit to no longer cover financial insolvency. In addition Chase terminated the $100 Visa Airfare benefit with no notice. All American Express zync cards will be closed on 3/30/20.
It was a good week for bank account bonuses with Wells Fargo offering a $400 nationwide bonus for personal accounts and $1,000 in branch for business bonuses. M&T Bank is offering a bonus of up to $400 for those in CT, DC, DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, WV. Cambridge Savings Bank is offering a $400 bonus for those in MA, CT, ME, NH, RI, VT.
