Best Posts Last Week: New 60,000 Point Offer, 150,000 Point Offer & Other Great Deals!

This was a pretty huge week (I think it was the biggest traffic week in this sites existance) with Black Friday and also some leaked American Express links (including 100,000 personal Platinum). Most of those deals are dead now, this emphasises how important it is to be following us on Twitter to get instant updates of everything we post! Otherwise you might miss out on deals like a free $10 at Amazon.com. This is doubly true considering Cyber Monday is tomorrow!

Something that got lost in the noise a bit is the fact that Barclaycard has dramatically cut benefits for active duty military cardholders. Previously they offered the best benefits out of all card issuers, now they only offer what is legally required of them under the SCRA. We also know who will issue the new Avianca Credit Cards, wait for it – it’s Banco Popular! I suspect the 60,000 initial bonus will launch on Monday.

Chase Marriott card also has a massive 150,000 point bonus but it’s actually not worth considering at all. If you recently applied for the Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Freedom Unlimited in branch – make sure you ask to be matched to the higher offers. We also compared all of the different price protection policies.

Fairly slow week for bank account bonuses, most interesting was probably the Chase Premier $300 bonus – this is also available online unlike the recent Chase total checking bonuses. Rest of the bonuses we added are either too small or we don’t know enough about them to work out if they are good deals or not.

As mentioned earlier, it was an absolutely insane week for deals. If you’re not already, make sure you are following us on Twitter (it’s probably also worth signing up for instant alerts on time sensitive deals). Of the deals still available, the $100/$75/$50 back fron spending $30 at AT&T is very good. ShopAtHome are offering offering a bonus of $5-$15 for spending $150-$350 (can be used three times) worth considering when you’re doing your holiday shopping. If you have Samsung pay then get an easy $15 bonus for using a Chase card three times. Last but not least the 5,000 point Hilton bonus for using a Visa card is much better than previously predicted as it can be used on award and cash & points stays.
