Best Posts Last Week: Best Ever Hilton Bonuses, New Discover Card, Nationwide Bank Bonuses & More

Last week we saw American Express increased the bonus on two Hilton cards to the highest we’ve ever seen, the Ascend bonus is now at 150,000 points and the no annual fee card is offering 100,000 points or 75,000 points + $100 statement credit. They also increased the sign up bonus on the SPG cards, the business card is offering 90,000 points + $100 statement credit and might be worth considering. The personal card is only at 65,000 points + $100 statement credit.

Discover launched a new business card called Discover it Business, unfortunately it’s just a clone of the personal Discover it Miles card with less benefits. Chase continued cracking down, you can no longer do ‘double dips’. Chase also removed most of the work arounds for the 24/48 month language, but there is one that will still work for now. Chase has also removed the authorized bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card. It’s worth checking to see if you’re targeted for a Chase Sapphire Preferred 65,000 point offer as this has the 24 month language and also bypasses the 5/24 rule.

It was another good week for bank account bonuses. Wells Fargo has brought back the popular $300 business checking bonus, Discover is offering $150/$200 nationwide on the savings product and Chase Sapphire Banking will be launching a 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points bonus in the future. HSBC is also offering a $100 savings bonus through Slickdeals, you should be able to stack this with the checking bonus offering up to $750. You can view the full list of new regional bonuses below.

If you have AT&T service, check to see if you are targeted for an AmEx offer offering $200 back on $200 in spend or $50 back on $150 in spend (can be done three times). Brokerage service WeBull is also offering a free stock worth $3-$1,000+. If you have a Capital One card and an Android phone try to do this bonus for an easy $25. Chase Pay is also offering 5x at Best Buy, Ebags or Tock if you have a Sapphire or Freedom card. It’s also worth checking to see what your United Play offer is as well.
