Best Posts Last Week: Increased AmEx Hilton Offers, $200 Savings Bonus & $10 Off $10 Deal

Last week we saw American Express increase the sign up bonus on three Hilton cards, we compare all four of the Hilton cards here as well. As for the increased bonuses you can get 125,000 points + $50 statement credit on the business card, 75,000 miles + $50 statement credit on the no annual fee card and 100,000 points + free night certificate on card anniversary (plus the one you  normally earn for spending $15,000). Citi has offers for 50,000 miles + $200 statement credit on both the personal American Airlines and business American Airlines cards, this significant as there are datapoints of people successfully matching to 70,000 miles and keeping the $200 statement credit. Citi also confirmed for us the negative changes to their price match policy.

Chase is sending out offers to upgrade to the IHG Premier card, but we recommend against it. Bank of America will stop doing hard pull for credit limit increases starting from today. American Express is offering some charge cardholders 10,000 Membership Rewards points for enrolling in pay over time and there is a YMMV offer for the Delta gold card offering 60,000 miles + $50 statement credit but without the normal lifetime language.

It was a another slow week for bank account bonuses. But you can get a Discover savings bonus of $150-$200 without the NerdWallet link now. Huntington Bank also has a $400/$750 business checking bonus for those in OH, MI, IN, PA, KY, WV, IL & WI. A couple of good bonuses for those in WI, First Federal is offering $300, Waterstone is offering $256 and Northshore is offering $300 and those IL can also get in on that Northshore offer. We also have a new rate leader for high interest savings accounts, with Northpointe offering 2.05% APY.

In terms of deals, Petsmart has a $10 off $10 offer. Amex has targeted offers giving $15 back on $30+ for Sam’s Club purchases and 10% back on cell phone bills. You can also get $32 by getting a hulu subscription through Swagbucks. eBay has a 20% off on some retailers starting today. Plastiq also has an awesome promotion offering no fees when using a Mastercard through Masterpass.
