Best Posts Last Week: American Airlines Credit Card Rewards Abuse, Hyatt Peak Pricing & More

Last week the biggest credit card news was that American Airlines has started to crack down on credit cards rewards abuse. In better news we’ve updated our best credit card bonus page for December. We saw a few targeted deals last week that are of interest including $500 from Bank of America on the business cash rewards card and 75,000 for some businesses to get a second platinum card. If you’ve had a Platinum card before, check your Uber account to see if you have a $35 credit.

It was a slower week for bank account bonuses but OneAZ has a huge $500 personal checking bonus for those in Arizona. The $150/$250 Discover savings bonus has been extended as have regional deals from BMO Harris, FirstBank & Iberia Bank. A full list of added bank bonuses can be viewed below.

It was a very busy week for deals due to Cyber Monday, sadly most of those have now expired. We did get extended Amazon deals when using Chase, American Express & Discover points though. There is also an amex offer for $10 back when you spend $50+ at Lowe’s. You can get an Echo Input for $9.99, Starbucks has a 2019 holiday promotion and you can get two free entries per day. Wendy’s is offering free food until January 3rd. Hyatt announced it would be moving to peak and off peak pricing in 2020.

As always a lot of the good deals have already expired, make sure to either follow us on Twitter, get instant notifications or get daily e-mail updates so you don’t miss any deals. If we missed any deals or you have an idea for a post, please let us know ([email protected] or [email protected]).
