Best Posts Last Week: No Lifetime Language Deals, Beginners Bank Bonus Guide & More

Last week we saw American Express offer three no lifetime language deals (all are YMMV, but worth checking if you’re eligible): Delta, Gold & Business Platinum. It also looks like the American Express RAT department is cracking down on early closures. In more American Express news check to see if you have any authorized user or pay over time bonuses. Chuck also looked at Citi’s annual fee refund policy. Bank of America business cards now get the preferred rates on full rewards earning, meaning some cards earn up to 5.25% back.

We saw a lot of great new bank account bonuses added last week, most are state specific I’d recommend having a browse through the full list below.

If you don’t already have a Sam’s Club membership, read this post on how to stack deals. Airbnb is offering $25 off $50+ on AirBnB experiences. Chase/BofA are offering $40 back when you spend money on AT&T wireless. The Discover $10 off $30+ on Amazon bonus has been extended to more people and BJ’s is offering a $100 Hotels.com gift card for $85.

We got some bad news in that it’s rumored American Airlines is working on dynamic pricing. Amtrak also changed the expiry date on points to be 36 months instead of 24 months. Chase Small Business week is running from May 5th until May 11th, it’s unclear if there will be any increased sign up bonuses or not. Amazon sellers will also be charged sales tax on fees beginning in June.
