Last week we saw a lot of increased credit card bonuses, U.S. Bank started things off with the highest ever bonus on the Radisson Rewards Visa card of 120,000 points. Chase increased the sign up bonus on all of the Southwest cards to 60,000 points and Barclays increased the sign up bonus on the JetBlue business card to 60,000 points and personal version to 50,000 points. PNC is also offering a bonus of $750 on the BusinessOptions credit card.
American Express announced that the Blue Cash Preferred would have a new 6% (streaming) & 3% (transit) categories added, with department stores being removed. More people were targeted for the 100,000 CardMatch/AmEx Pre-qualified bonus.
It was a slower week for bank account bonuses, although Discover is now offering a cash back match on the Discover checking account worth up to $210. SunTrust $750 bonus has also been extended for people in select states and we see a $400 M&T business checking bonus for select states as well.
American Express is offering a 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic & Capital One has added JetBlue as a 2:1 transfer bonus, although at launch there is a 50% transfer bonus as well. Chuck has also given tip on adding two amex offers to your cards.
