Best Posts Last Week: New AmEx Card, Best Hilton Credit Card Bonuses & More

American Express launched a new business card called Blue Business Cash, this offers 2% cash back on up to $50,000 in purchases without a sign up bonus so not that attractive. American Express also discontinued the Simply Cash card. We also got increased bonuses of 130,000 points + a free night certificate on the Surpass/Ascend and the Business Hilton cards from American Express (new highest on both). Sign up bonus on the Avianca cards has also been increased to 40,000/60,000 miles.

It was a good week for bank account bonuses as well, Marcus-Goldman is offering new and existing customers a 1% bonus on deposits up to $500. U.S. Bank has a $400 in branch business bonus and there is also a $300 Chase business checking bonus. Plus a lot of good state specific bonuses such as $500 from Andigo from those in IL and $400/$500 from First National Bank of Long Island for those in NY.

Last week was Amazon Prime day, most of those deals are now dead unfortunately and we also managed to get ourselves banned from the Amazon affiliate program. Lots of good AmEx offers were released including spend $40, get $10 back at Staples. Spend $250+, get $25 back at best buy and get 30% back at select technology providers including newegg.

As always a lot of the good deals have already expired, make sure to either follow us on Twitter, get instant notifications or get daily e-mail updates so you don’t miss any deals. If we missed any deals or you have an idea for a post, please let us know (will@doctorofcredit.com or chuck@doctorofcredit.com).
