Best Posts Last Week: New Chase Southwest Card, Revamped Wells Fargo Card & More

Last week saw Chase introduced a new Southwest card called Rapid Rewards Priority, it has a $150 annual fee and a number of new benefits. You can read our full review, plus FAQ here. Some existing Southwest cardholders have also been targeted for a 5,000 point upgrade bonus. Wells Fargo has revamped the Propel card and that is now live, it has 3x categories and a 30,000 point sign up bonus.

Unfortunately issues with American Express sync offers have gotten worse, but we provide full details and some possible work arounds here. In better news American Express has four targeted offers of interest. Spend offers on the business Platinum card & business gold rewards card. There are also sign up bonus offers for the personal Platinum card & personal gold card without lifetime language. Bank of America is also offering a bonus of 30,000 points on the Amtrak card.

Chuck fully updated the best high yield savings account page. We also added 19 new checking account bonuses, most are state specific and can be viewed below. Bank of America has a public $150 bonus that requires a referral, Discover has a $150/$200 savings bonus, Citibank has a savings bonus up to $700 (but not worth doing) and Capital One has a $200 money market account bonus. In addition American Express rolled out Amex offers for supermarkets, office supply stores, department stores, Best Buy, Hilton, Amazon & Kimpton.
