Best Posts Last Week: $30 Off Amazon, New Citi Card & Upgraded Bonuses

Last week we saw Citi launch the Rewards+ credit card, it earns a minimum of 10 points per transaction and there is also an annual redemption bonus of up to 10,000 points. I don’t think it makes sense to sign up for that card directly, but you can product change to it. We also saw Chase add a number of new sign up bonuses, the best is the 75,000 miles on offer for the United Business Explorer. You can also get a companion pass + 30,000 points on the Chase Southwest personal cards, although the 50,000 point bonuses are still available as well. The Freedom Unlimited also has an increased bonus of up to $225.

We also got rumors that American Express would be refreshing the green card and possibly adding Amazon Prime membership. American Express is also targeting more people for the 100,000 Platinum offer. If you’re on a Hawaiian Airlines flight keep a look out for the 60,000 mile in flight offer that only requires one purchase.

This includes some great nationwide bonuses, for example Capital One offering $200-$500, Chase business offering a $200 savings bonus, Chase Sapphire Banking offering 60,000 Chase UR and GoBank offering $100. Amazon brought back the popular $30 off $60+ when you use a single membership rewards point and you can do it again if you did it in 2018. More people got targeted for the Chase UR version for $15 off $60, but sadly can’t be repeated if you already did it. If you haven’t used the Amazon app you can also get $15 off $30. Chase/BankAmerideals is offering the profitable $40 back when you spend at AT&T wireless as well. Some American Airlines loyalty members have been targeted for elite status.
