Direct link to offer

Seems to be very chexsystems based on the last 90 days.

No monthly fee to worry about and if you’re in two player mode you could get $350 combined from this bonus (or even more if you can refer other friends/family).

Charles Schwab Up To $500 Bonus

Direct link to bonus

This is now a soft pull making it much more interesting. People like this account because the account is quite useful (e.g ATM fees reimbursed, no fees for foreign transaction withdrawals) and you can also get this account and a brokerage account at the same time for one hard pull. The brokerage account then gives you access to the Charles Schwab credit cards. Obviously not for everybody, but a pretty good combination.

  • Anyone know a fast way to get funds into Fidelity? I tried linking via Ally but the trial deposits failed. Fidelity takes so damn long to settle the funds when I pull into it.

    • Interesting. I was able to add Fidelity to Ally and LendingClub via trial deposits using the long account number shown online, but this was years back. @guest_2075485 @guest_300726

I agree with Gadget that wire transfer would be a good and fast option, which I use to send funds when there is little time left to do ACH. Domestic wire transfers generally arrive at the destination the same business day if you send it before the originating bank's cutoff time, but it may vary depending on the processing time of the receiving bank. @guest_1184882

      • I was able to get Ally to recognize it as a money market checking. Trying just checking didn't work.

    • As AN said, best way I have seen is request a Fidelity checkbook, and you will have the slightly shorter account number and RTN. Then use a bank like LendingClub that allows you to link an account, without using Plaid type services, to push funds in. Takes one business day to be available.

If you are in a time crunch now and cannot wait for a checkbook, not sure what could be done other than wire transfers. I'd assume those do not require a waiting period to show as available. @guest_1184882

      • @guest_2075572 As I mentioned, it seems you don't even need to enable checkwriting for the account; you can just replace the account number prefix 39900000 with 7710 as instructed in the link I posted. I haven't verified that this works without enabling checkwriting, but it should.

        • I did not enable checkwriting on the Fidelity account when I added it to Ally via trial deposits years back, I used the long account number. @guest_2075724

          • @guest_2076127 Did you add it as a money market checking account? Referencing #2076030

          • I just checked my Ally account, it is listed as a Checking account, and I am pretty sure I wouldn't have selected money market checking at the time when I did it. I do not think this matters, but FWIW, the Fidelity account I added to Ally is a brokerage account (the one I added to LendingClub is a CMA account). And based on the emails, I can confirm I used the 17-digit long account number. @guest_2076140

          • Yeah, I think most institutions I used worked fine with the 17-digit number. I added a 17-digit brokerage account number via trial deposits to LendingClub last week.

          • I thought it was worth a shot because of this:

          • Things could have changed over the years. But I agree it can help a lot to have the shortened account number.

    • How did it fail? Was it because the account number is too long? You can try getting a checkwriting account number. Supposedly you don't even have to enable it:

  • Wells Fargo DD req is 3000 not 1000 - need to update this page. It's correct on the details page just not here

  • Any suggestions which non-Chex/EWS-sensitive banks to shoot for after already opening 6 new checking/savings/fintech accounts in the last 6 months?

    • Depends which 6 you have done, and are due for churning. Typically any on the "best list" are fair game.

Also, any of the ones that don't pull Chex or EWS are the ones (almost) anyone can do without consequences. (Sunward, Chime, On Tap)

      • Yea, I've done Sunward and Chime already (On Tap is CO only). So I was hoping to see a list of more banks like this.

  • Got an email from Citizens
Open a savings account and deposit $200 in July, August, and September each month for a $200 bonus by Oct 31 2025.

May be targeted to current checking owners? I don't see it on the site. My email URL has this embedded though: promocode=VST25C2SAVOD

  • I had an interesting call from ontap cu fraud department today after applying with an e-mail address on a custom domain (ontap@domainname.com) and they were just confirming it was me that applied since it was a 'new e-mail' address. I guess since it's not an e-mail on EWS (I think) then it's considered a new e-mail and may trigger a fraud risk on their side? I forgot to ask what she was basing the fact that it was a 'new e-mail address' on.

I think I've seen 1 other person on here using a custom domain, so maybe I should just stick to a known e-mail (not even sure what that would be, gmail/yahoo/microsoft?) for bank bonuses? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

  • SouthEast Bank Bonus (TN Only), open a Checking and Savings account the same business day and get $300 for meeting requirements and keeping both open. New customers that haven’t had a checking/savings with the bank for 12 months or longer. Full list or terms and conditions on the website.

      • Perhaps worth putting in as a local one, particularly given this condition from the website "Must mention this offer in-branch to be eligible."

        • The terms say "Must use promo code online or mention this offer in-branch to be eligible," so it's not in-branch only
