fThat depends on who the bank account is with. Most banks will simply do a soft pull on your credit report (this doesn’t affect your credit score at all), but some banks (especially those who offer a line of credit, such as overdraft protection) will do a hard pull on your credit file. Sorry if the wrong thread. I’ve been searching both DoC and reddit, and can’t find a definitive answer.

Does getting denied due to chex, flag me higher than usual with other banks?
I’m at 13 accounts opened the past 14 months. I’m looking at some easily attainable bonus’ that seem more chex sensitive, vs a few that have to earn bonus’ for my situation (along with some churn options).

I’d like to try open the easier ones, but I don’t want a denial to make it more difficult with the harder options / churns.
